Asparagus – Roasted

Ingredients

  • Asparagus
  • Olive Oil or Avocado Oil
  • Himalayan Pink Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Minced Garlic

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450 deg F
  • Combine oil, salt, pepper, and garlic in a ziplock bag
  • Break off the woody ends of the asparagus (opposite of the spear head)
  • Add asparagus to the ziplock bag and coat well
  • Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and set a metal cooling rack on top
  • Lay out asparagus in a single layer on cooling rack
  • Optional – grind salt and pepper on coated asparagus
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes

Notes

Oven set to bake (no convection). Used center rack
